With the introduction of the new tshirt line in the Etsy shop, I've really been enjoying myself with these new tees.
The ideas just keep coming.. I've got a piece of paper next to my keyboard that has scribble ideas all over it. So, believe me - more designs are coming! :)
In dolly news, I've put a 21cm Obitsu body on my darling Rhista (Disco Boogie Blythe Doll) and we've been having a lot of fun trying it out! You can see more mischief in my Flickr.
Ohoh! We also added some snazzy new boots to the shop and have lots more in store within the coming month! Including carrying some Brainworm eyechips! (pretty excited about that one!)

New adventure!
I'm addicted.. to making my own Blythe tshirts. When I was about 19 I bought a tshirt printer and a bunch of white tees but I was young and lazy and it sat in my parents garage until last year when their house caught on fire. (I'm going somewhere happy with this, I promise)
I've always loved the idea. I think it's a form of expression that you don't have to go overboard with but I just never could make the human sized shirts. Recently the idea came to make them for my dolls. So, I ordered a bunch of white tees from CoolCat.
The very high quality tees (I was amazed by the quality!) came yesterday and I've been on a printing spree ever since. I have so many ideas in my head that I want to print.
To my absolute delight, they are already becoming popular. Even though I mentioned they are not perfect as I'm still learning. I'm getting so much support from my Blythe friends that it's already been an overwhelmingly joyful experience.
I can't wait to think up more cute designs! In the mean time you can pick them up in my Etsy shop or Artfire. I'll be adding them to the main store once I get the hang of it. Having just a few little things to figure out so I can make them 100% professional.

New shoes in the shop!
I had so much fun shooting the pictures of these shoes! Can you tell that's my little pale Fruit Punch modeling the red pair? :)
These platform Mary Janes are very popular and are a must have for any doll shoe enthusiest. Now you don't have to search all over for that particular Barbie and snatch her shoes! (Which I am guilty of! I admit it!)
Not to mention the quality of these shoes is awesome! They are very durable yet more flexible in the strap area.
More colors available soon! Including glittery ones! Oooo! :)

Blythe Obsession...
In personal news. I've received 2 new girls in 2 days. A beautiful Heather Sky (left) and a Disco Boogie (right).
I named the Disco Boogie girl "Rhista". But I'm still torn on a name for the Heather Sky girl. My daughter wants me to name her "Cocoa" or "Kiki" - but I'm still not sold on either name yet.
Hubby and I have almost finished our kitchen and it looks great! As soon as it's completed I will share a before and after photo. What a change! Right now we have no countertop and the stove hookup still needs to be installed but it's moving along. As slow and stressful as possible. ;)
In store news, still working on carrying more Blythe related products. The next goal is to get in some CoolCat eyechips. Stay tuned!

New Re-Ment & Weekend Sale!
I can't believe it, but I was able to bring in another new Re-Ment set; Rainbow Deli. This is by far my favorite Re-Ment set! And that's saying a lot because I'm a huge fan.
Everything about it is completely adorable. I can just envision creating a little shop for my Blythe girl (Lala) to hang out in.
Usually when I am unpacking a set, I can pick out my favorites in a set. But every time I peeked in a box and pulled out a set, I was like "OoO", "aah!" about every one.
The details (as usual) are amazing. But you really can't pass up adorable little things like the Bagel set & the Avocado set. All 10 are just adorable! I'm sure you're bound to find a set you'll love! The colors just make you happy when you open it. :)
We also restocked Girly Style & Re-Ment Kitchen Units!
In store news, I'm running a weekend sale! Just add the coupon code "tib" @ checkout for 5% off and FREE us shipping on your order of $45+.

New Site, New Name!
Can you believe it? It only took a second for me to think about changing the store name, look and some products once the name "Commonly Cute" came to mind.
Although I enjoy selling children's play foods (and will continue to do so!) - I decided to shift the focus of the store more towards the adults like me... who are completely young @ heart and love finding the cute and unique collectibles for their home and office.
Starting with my favorite line; Re-Ment. The most adorable miniatures around! I cannot wait to start carrying more of their line. What an exciting time.
Today marks a new start! It's funny, I just noticed that my URLS for (www.thetoybakery.com) renewed a few days ago, so on my 1 year anniversary I renamed and am winging the store out unto a new branch.
I cannot wait to finish up adding the new products and to get the old URL to forward here and let everyone know we are open for business!
Here's to another year!
